As part of our opening and closing during this session, we will be asking all those attending to do a Think Alone. Your role in this activity will define which of the Think Alone topics you complete.

Participants: Those individuals who are functioning as the sample students for our lesson, referred to as Participants, will be provided a short description of the role they are to play. While reviewing that role during the Think Alone time, participants should brainstorm responses to complete the following statement: "For you as a learner, science inquiry is . . . "

Gallery I: Half the gallery will be asked to reflect on the topic of inquiry from the point of view of their own role in education at this time. These Gallery members should brainstorm responses to complete the following statement: "For you as an educator, inquiry based instruction is . . . "

Gallery II: The other half of the gallery will be asked to reflect on the topic of digital equity from the point of view of their own role in education at this time. These Gallery members should brainstorm responses to complete the following statement: "For you as an educator, digital equity in instruction is . . . "
